Is Henin making Womens Tennis look bad?

What I mean by this is…. after a long leave of absence… she comes back and just trounces the opposition all the way to the final.
Do you think the fact someone out of the game for so long, can actually do this, makes the women’s game look weak?
If the regular players cant dispatch a match-starved star from several years ago…. what does that say about the intensity of their game?
I didn’t attack her, I said was she a reflection on the female game, duh, anyone could see that.
Whilst we are on the subject though, I believe she is utterly dull and have never liked her style. Her slice backhand drives me nuts.

Jordan came back to basketball and won three more championships.
Even after he came back the second time he was still one of the best.
If you’re good, you’re good. And some people are on another level (Martina Navratilova, Satchel Paige, etc.).
All that aside, Henin needs to stop relying on her coach during matches. I personally feel that knocks her down a notch or two in my book.
I Think You are making this section looks bad. Justin Henin is amazing Tennis player with tremendous skills. Its very rare to see a women player who plays almost complete game like she does. and I think her comeback makes WTA even better. I think she would be a good rival for Williams sisters.

well henin has not totally trounced the field all the way to the final… she had some tough matches agains’t demeteva, kleybaneova, petrova, and wickmeyer… her only real blowout was with Zheng in the semifinal.. but henin did get better with each match…
it does not show how bad the field was.. it just shows the vast difference bewteen there game and henins game.. how complete henins game is, the rarity of her one handed backhand, her all court game and aggression…
what has happened the last 2 years is there have been Players being Place holders for henin and Clijsters.. ….

Serena Williams will never be regarded in the same light as Steffi Graf mainly because the competition has been so weak.
Kim Clijsters won at the US Open in 2009. It is hard to win 6 matches in a row to get to the finals of any tournament. I think there are some great players out there and I think Justine Henin has more heart and determination than any tennis player I’ve ever seen. She is small, not like Serena Williams who is huge and powerful. Henin beat some very good players and could very well outlast Serena. Henin is no slouch and never has been. She is the most intense player I have ever seen and women’s tennis is lucky to have her back.
Not at all. First off she wasn’t retired for that long. Second we all know what a tremendous player she is, seven grand slams, a very long time as the number 1 player. It wasn’t as easy as you make it seem. Before the semi-finals she had to battle. Dementieva gave her a battle although it was only two sets. In both the third and fourth she got taken to three sets and Petrova gave her battle so it wasn’t a breeze. Yeah so I don’t think this any indication of how bad the women’s game is. If your a great player its something that just doesn’t go away.
