Are these for athletic Tennis shoes?
I purchased Nike Air Max Breathe Cage (http://cgi.ebay.com/NIKE-Air-Max-Breathe-Cage-White-New-Shoes-Womens-11_W0QQitemZ140339917994QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Women_s_Shoes?hash=item20ace934aa&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14) and I was wondering if this shoe is for athletic tennis shoe…NOT running shoes.
Because there is another Nike Air Breathe Cage shoe that looks identical but has "ZOOM AIR" imprinted on the forefoot.
Or does either one are athletic tennis shoes?
Is Kim Clijsters back and better than ever?
Kim just came back from leaving tennis in 2007. She just defeated Bartoli farely easily. Bartoli is no pushover as before this match she defeated Venus Williams. Anyway I’m glad to see her back because womens tennis needs her. Now if only Henin would return.
Kotch, your the second guy today to say that, thanks
I hope Dokic hangs in there as well, I heard Seles was coming back, hmmm maybe I’m on crack.
Sorry to say it, but Ivanovic and Jankovic are done just like Vaidasova and Golovin. Well, maybe not that far done, but I don’t see them as any threat as much as they once were. I think Azarenka and Pennetta have replaced them.
Questions about going to a tennis pro tournament?
Hey guys
I’m gonna go watch the womens L.A. pro tennis tournament tomorrow
I’m going to see a night match and to the people who’ve been to pro tennis tournaments before,
What should I bring?
How much money should I bring?
Is there a way I can get autographs or meet the players?
Thanks :]
Any other tips and stuff would be great!
Who watches Womens tennis?
I was watchin’ that Woman’s tennis this weekend. I’m usully a NASCAR man but I catched that Marie Sharpanovo on TV. Thats a good-lookin’ Woman, but ever time she hits that ball, sounds like a crow is calling……Caw….caw…..caw.
Seems like those tennis people could shoot that thing. Its a distraction.

Where do I go after I return serve in doubles tennis?
I am 40 years old and new to womens tennis. I know that it is the goal for both players to eventually get up to the net, but I’m a little confused about where to go after I return a serve. When I watch other players they seem to take a few, or more, shots from around the baseline before going up to the net. Others seem to run just before the service line after returning serve–but I thought that was "no mans land"–and then they go up closer to the net. I would like to return the serve and rush up to the net because I am really comfortable at the net–I enjoy volleying. I’m more fearful back by the baseline hitting cross court shots. I get the feeling there isn’t a black and white answer, but if someone can help me how to strategically think in this situation, it would be very helpful!! Thanks!!
