Why oh why did Safina and Serena win?
Dementieva and Zvonareva are clearly the better players now. I can't stand watching women lose because of losing serve and I especially hate seeing the less fit players win. Anybody see the Kuznetsova and Serena match, was that not the slowest and most boring match ever? Anyway I'm just tired of out of shape power hitters making womens tennis boring. And I would really like to see someone that plays and is more involved with tennis than fashion win a slam, so yeah I'm rooting for Serena.
These girls have just been super lucky Sharapova and Henin werent there is all I'm sayin.
I guess I just miss Hingis.

The roof situation is crazy, I think it should always be open, these players can handle it. If they can't, they don't deserve to win. I do notice how Serena has almost every match shown, but other americans get screwed. I have been wating a year and a half to see a Maria Kirilenko match, shes never shown. They need to go ahead and put Roddick on the opposite of side of the draw of Federer and give em a chance to get in a final,lol
Anyway, I guess I'm upset because crafty all court tennis lost, and power tennis prevailed, it seems that only mens tennis has all court tennis finals now.
First off, Johnboy24 is it? I never said they lost because of the heat, I just said they should either leave it open or closed, not both. And Sharapova is healing her shoulder, while Henin got so bored at this power tennis crap she retired from tennis at 26 years old.
Have the Williams sisters ruined the women’s game?
Before the Williams sisters womens tennis used to be a game of technique, angles, accuracy and finesse, very entertaining to watch.
Now Serena and Venus have made it a game of who can hit the ball the hardest.
I have never seen either of them play with the skill that Hingus, Court, and many other talented women had.
The sisters use there size to bully other opponents.
Maybe they should introduce weight divisions into womens tennis? Have they ruined the game?

What does the WTA need to do to improve their state?
The U.S. Open Series is already halfway through for the women, and this much is clear: The WTA’s top players could not care less. Whether it is injuries or indifference, most of the top players skipped Los Angeles, Stanford and now Montreal is also losing players to injuries. So just like last year, the U.S. Open Series is quickly devolving into a bit of a joke as far as women are concerned.
There was a time, not too long ago when I was a big fan of womens tennis and a strong believer in equal prize money. But I have to admit that currently I have very little to no interest in the Womens tour because of its sad state and I am seriously doubting my belief in equal prize money now.
Meanwhile, most of the men compete in the key U.S. Open Series events (at least the ones designated as Masters Series). What’s up with the women? Why can’t they stay healthy? Why does their interest seem to wane? What does the tour need to do to improve?

when will her suspension expire? and after that is she considering playing again. I mean she still has the game to make it to the top after what she demonstrated during her comeback. and eve though her skills may have deteriorated, she stiil has the charisma and star power to make womens tennis attractive again., coz as it is now women's tennis seems pretty boring after henin's retirement. Except for the Williams sisters, Most of the Top 20 players lack star power to draw more interests from fans. so i think hinigis (or henin perhaps) return would helped. what do you think?

By killing the charm and grace of the womens' game we are all well aware of their negative influence.
The father of this rather unattractive duo clearly trained his daughters to power their opponents into submission and, thereby, ensure that their influence would remain forever negative.
As for their grotesque ' fashion statements' I think the less said the better.
